ppl:ai open 1, 11.06.2025

On June 11, 2025, Kitchen59 buzzed with energy. More than 40 curious minds gathered for the very first edition of ppl:ai — the playground for human–AI creativity. The mission was bold: to show that humans and AI don’t just coexist — they can co-create when faced with today’s pressing challenges.

From morning till late evening, the room pulsed with ideas. Mixed teams from companies, startups, academia, and creative communities threw themselves into one big question: how might we boost human wellbeing in an accelerated world?

And what a ride it was. The Paysafe team pushed hard to bring an AI prototype with facial recognition to life, smiles never fading even when glitches got in their way. The Sofia University team dug deep, surprising everyone with an unexpected perspective that hit home. Teenovators wowed the crowd with a bold, unorthodox solution and one of the most memorable pitches of the night. And the Nexo crew stepped outside their usual roles, embracing new hats with playful courage.

By the end, the atmosphere was electric yet warm — the kind of excitement that leaves you both exhausted and fulfilled. What stays with us is the spark: creativity set free, collaboration at its best, and proof that innovation feels less like work — and more like play — when humans and AI meet.
